Responsibilities
- Define system designs, select appropriate technologies, and establish scalable, secure, and reliable architectural patterns.
- Write critical code and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Lead analysis, design, implementation, release activities, and delivery of business outcomes.
- Coach junior and mid-level developers and foster continuous learning and career growth.
- Translate complex technical concepts for business, product, design, and executive stakeholders.
- Work with business stakeholders, Tribe Leads, Product Owners, and Lead Architects to deliver solutions.
- Design solutions capable of supporting large-scale operations and contribute to production and incident management.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of IT industry experience in full-stack development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, JMS, Kafka, and publish-subscribe data streaming.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, with GCP preferred and AWS or Azure also applicable.
- Knowledge of distributed and multi-tiered architecture styles, integration patterns, and data mesh.
- Knowledge of SRE, change management, incident management, and production operations.
- Experience designing solutions for large-scale operations.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, stress testing, and contract testing.
- Proficiency working with APIs and data formats including JSON, XML, YAML, and Parquet.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities.
