Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable Spring Boot backend applications.
- Write clean, modular, and testable Java code.
- Implement backend features using MySQL and MongoDB.
- Apply Layered Architecture, DDD, and Event-Driven Design patterns.
- Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance and security.
- Improve CI/CD automation and deployment processes with DevOps teams.
- Test Spring Boot applications using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
- Work with messaging systems including ActiveMQ and Kafka.
Requirements
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with software architecture patterns such as Layered Architecture, DDD, and Event-Driven Design.
- Experience with TDD and testing best practices in Spring Boot.
- Experience with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and Kafka.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical problems and solutions to different stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with gRPC, GraphQL, and REST API communication.
- Preferred hands-on experience with GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of backend application security best practices; familiarity with ISO 27001:2022 Annex A 8.28 is a plus.
