Base Salary
$175k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve application security across products and cloud systems.
- Integrate security checks into CI and CD pipelines to catch issues early.
- Review code and infrastructure to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Automate manual security tasks and build scalable guardrails.
- Collaborate with platform teams to enhance cloud security.
- Support security controls for compliance with SOC 2, ISO, and similar standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or DevSecOps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience writing and reviewing code in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Experience integrating security into CI and CD workflows.
- Ability to work closely with engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Practical mindset focused on managing risk without blocking progress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel approximately four to six times per year.
