Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support quantitative pricing and trading applications using Python.
- Build scalable applications for commodities and financial markets use cases.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and business stakeholders on technology solutions.
- Design and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automation processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Support application reliability, security, monitoring, observability, and AWS-based cloud-native architectures.
Requirements
- Require 7–10 years of software development experience.
- Require strong hands-on Python development experience in production environments.
- Require quantitative development experience in capital markets, commodities, or financial services.
- Require understanding of pricing, quantitative models, and financial market workflows.
- Require strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prefer hands-on experience with the Beacon Platform and AWS Cloud Services.
- Prefer CI/CD implementation experience, including GitHub Actions.
- Prefer experience with APIs, data pipelines, data-intensive applications, distributed and event-driven architectures, DevSecOps, application security, observability, workflow automation frameworks, containerization, microservices, and financial data platforms.
