Base Salary
$202k - $318k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML-powered customer solutions using Rovo.
- Build enterprise integrations using Python, JavaScript, APIs, and microservices.
- Deliver end-to-end production deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
- Work directly with customers and cross-functional product, engineering, and design teams to influence product direction.
- Drive AI-augmented workflow automation and measurable business outcomes in customer environments.
- Navigate AI risk assessment, data privacy, GDPR, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor Senior FDEs and engineers and influence teams without formal authority.
- Communicate technical concepts and create concise artifacts for stakeholders, peers, partners, and leadership.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in backend software development, including at least five years in a principal- or staff-level role.
- At least five years of experience delivering impactful AI/ML solutions in production, including founding or forward-deployed engineering experience in 0-to-1 product development.
- Deep expertise in applied AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, with experience in enterprise integration.
- Experience with AI risk assessment, data privacy, and compliance such as GDPR.
- Ability to solve complex ambiguous problems, collaborate effectively, and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Strategic thinking and a track record of aligning technical solutions with business goals.
- Preferred: experience with Atlassian Intelligence, Rovo AI, or AI-powered Atlassian features.
- Preferred: familiarity with regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
- Preferred: experience deploying AI solutions to complex production systems at scale.
- Preferred: experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
