Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, train, deploy, and optimize machine learning models, algorithms, and data-processing pipelines.
  • Develop AI/ML-powered solutions for predictive applications, workflow automation, data-quality improvement, and multimodal data analysis.
  • Lead experimental ML initiatives, emerging-technology evaluations, AI transformation programs, and strategic adoption planning.
  • Build production monitoring frameworks and improve ML infrastructure, scalability, reliability, documentation, and engineering practices.
  • Design agentic workflows for autonomous training, data pipelines, multi-step analysis, and analytical problem solving.
  • Establish AI governance practices covering bias detection, interpretability, compliance monitoring, and responsible deployment.
  • Analyze complex datasets and translate model insights and experimental results into business and customer value.
  • Mentor teams, promote responsible AI adoption, share best practices, and foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Lead innovative projects from concept through proof of concept and contribute to technical publications or whitepapers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams, communicate with technical and executive audiences, and build research partnerships.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not accepted.
  • A related bachelor’s degree and 6 years of machine learning experience, or an alternative combination including a master’s degree with 4 years, a Ph.D. with 1 year, or 18 years of related experience without a degree.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent, subject to the stated alternative qualification pathways.
  • Deep expertise in multiple machine learning domains and familiarity with emerging research areas such as LLMs, agents, foundation models, multimodal AI, or quantum ML.
  • Experience with technology evaluation, competitive analysis, strategic planning, product prioritization, cross-team dependencies, and technology integration.
  • Experience with Rally, Jira, or similar tools.
  • A record of leading innovative projects, knowledge sharing, thought leadership, research collaboration, and partnership development.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing research or innovation teams, preferably in corporate research labs, innovation teams, or technology consulting.
  • Strong communication, analytical, consulting, requirements-analysis, stakeholder-collaboration, and strategic-planning skills.
  • A strong ML research-community network and demonstrated scientific rigor, adaptability, and comfort with non-deterministic systems.
