Base Salary
$189k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex enterprise-scale solutions for lending and credit card platforms.
- Translate business and stakeholder needs into technical designs meeting performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Lead modernization, cloud-first architecture, application integration, API strategy, and distributed-systems initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, infrastructure partners, delivery teams, and business stakeholders across enterprise initiatives.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Analyze production challenges, identify root causes, and improve operational stability.
- Create prototypes and proofs of concept for complex business challenges.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentorship.
- Present technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and influence enterprise technology direction.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, architecture trends, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of information technology experience with demonstrated application design expertise.
- Experience with financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, loans, or deposits.
- Expertise in consumer financial products, including UX, integration, and API layers.
- Experience with public cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- Experience leading and collaborating with multiple teams on enterprise-wide initiatives through all aspects of the SDLC.
- Experience with .NET, C#, Node.js, modern JavaScript frameworks in TypeScript or JavaScript, or Python is desired.
- System administration and automation experience with PowerShell or Bash is preferred.
- Understanding of SOLID design principles, object-oriented programming, and object-oriented design.
- Expertise with SOA patterns and distributed-systems design is preferred.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity is preferred.
- Experience presenting at industry conferences to technical and non-technical audiences is preferred.
