Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage the AICOE platform’s CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure.
- Lead technical strategy and roadmap development for CI/CD, platform infrastructure, deployment automation, and release lifecycle optimization.
- Drive operational excellence, reliability, scalability, resource utilization, and cost-effective scaling across build, release, and deployment environments.
- Manage container orchestration and production infrastructure using Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, Helm, and Docker.
- Support AI and inference workloads on the platform infrastructure when required.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, business stakeholders, and AICOE leadership to align platform capabilities with development needs and business SLAs.
- Present pipeline efficiency, deployment reliability, infrastructure cost, resource allocation, and scalability metrics to technical and executive audiences.
- Mentor developers and guide cross-functional platform engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrated leadership designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Strong programming and scripting skills, including hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines end to end.
- Deep production experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, Helm charts, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, and storage services.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Strong experience with Docker and production container technologies.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for platform and pipeline monitoring and observability.
- Expertise in application build, test, deployment, automated rollback, release workflows, build automation, release management, versioning, and automated testing frameworks.
- Advanced programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, and Bash, with performance optimization experience.
- Experience leading platform engineering development in cross-functional teams and mentoring developers.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with governance, compliance, and secure software delivery practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder-presentation skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML or inference platform infrastructure is preferred but not required.
