Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, monitor, and continuously improve cloud-native integrations across SAP S/4HANA and third-party platforms.
- Develop API-led integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, OData, REST APIs, SAP API Management, SAP Graph, and pre-built iFlows.
- Design event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh and Advanced Event Mesh, including reliable delivery, deduplication, and error handling.
- Integrate SAP systems with SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow using pre-built adapters and Open Connectors.
- Own production health through monitoring, alerting, SLOs, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure integration solutions meet GDPR, security, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in code and design reviews, collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders, and provide pairing and hands-on guidance to colleagues.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP Business Accelerator Hub.
- Strong experience with SAP API Management, including API policies, security, throttling, and monitoring.
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures with SAP Event Mesh or Advanced Event Mesh.
- Solid understanding of OData, REST, SOAP, and messaging protocols such as AMQP and Kafka.
- Experience integrating SAP systems including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba with third-party SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of GDPR and security best practices for integration design.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP Graph, SAP S/4HANA data models, SAP PI/PO migration, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and CI/CD for BTP integration artifacts.
