Base Salary
$190k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship backend APIs and services for the editor, dashboard, and customer documentation sites.
- Build and scale content ingestion, validation, transformation, and publishing pipelines for thousands of customer repositories.
- Develop search, retrieval, and agent infrastructure for Mintlify’s AI products.
- Improve caching, queues, databases, performance, reliability, and observability as the platform scales.
- Contribute to product direction, technical decisions, and cross-functional feature delivery from development through launch.
- Own projects, define solutions, and use direct customer insights to shape the product.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with systems design, API architecture, databases, and production systems.
- Strong product intuition and an ability to consider both the purpose and implementation of software.
- Adaptability and willingness to work beyond backend development when needed to ship features.
- Ability to operate with high ownership and define solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to speak directly with customers and incorporate their feedback into product decisions.
