Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, document, and release Camunda 8 distribution artifacts including Helm Charts, C8Run, and Docker Compose.
- Improve deployment artifacts across installation, upgrades, and day-two operations for self-managed customers.
- Use feedback from Support, Consulting, and Presales to identify deployment problems and shape priorities.
- Collaborate with Development, Product Management, QA, and Documentation teams to deliver integrated, tested, and documented releases.
- Participate in the shared medic rotation and resolve engineering-level support cases.
- Contribute to shared review, deployment, and test tooling for adoption by other Camunda teams.
- Improve onboarding, documentation, CI/CD, test automation, and release quality.
Requirements
- Strong expertise building, operating, and maintaining Helm Charts.
- Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.
- Pragmatic, autonomous programming and problem-solving approach with ownership of maintainable and operable software.
- Genuine curiosity about customer problems and willingness to use the Camunda product.
- Nice-to-have experience operating on-premises or self-hosted software on Docker.
- Nice-to-have familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools.
- Nice-to-have working knowledge of Go.
- Nice-to-have exposure to cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Crossplane.
