Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap for Finance systems aligned with business and enterprise technology strategy.
- Serve as lead architect for backend Finance applications, including technology selection, lifecycle management, design, implementation, and support.
- Translate enterprise architecture guidelines into detailed solution designs for technical implementation teams.
- Design and implement technical controls for data integrity, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Document end-to-end data flows and technical integration across the finance application ecosystem.
- Own problem definition and solutioning for technical issues and system gaps across multiple teams.
- Identify and champion AI/ML opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and improved financial controls.
- Create technical designs and specifications for scalable, secure, and forward-looking financial systems and enhancements.
- Coordinate technical interdependencies and activity sequencing with business partners, project managers, and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure financial systems meet security, administrative control, regulatory, and internal/external audit requirements.
- Support critical system upgrades and restore services outside core business hours when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related work experience; a high school degree or equivalent is otherwise required.
- At least 10 years of work experience in Information Technology, including significant strategic or architectural experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise business-system solutions, focused on financial applications.
- Hands-on architecture, design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting experience with enterprise-scale applications.
- Deep Enterprise Resource Planning experience is highly desired, with Oracle Financials knowledge preferred.
- Experience applying AI/ML to business problems such as process automation, predictive modeling, or anomaly detection.
- Knowledge of financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and FP&A is preferred.
- Hands-on development experience with relevant programming languages and database technologies such as SQL and Java.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments and managing technical integrations and dependencies.
- Healthcare experience and familiarity with HIPAA, HiTrust, and SOC audit/compliance requirements are preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder-management, and strategic decision-making skills are required.
