Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support highly available, fault-tolerant, high-throughput distributed and multi-tenant systems.
- Lead development and maintenance of key features for Amazon OpenSearch Service.
- Build solutions for data ingestion, auto-scaling, data storage, search optimization, query optimization, security, and machine learning.
- Prototype and validate design approaches, translate requirements into deliverables, and collaborate with technology leaders.
- Produce robust, efficient, maintainable code and identify operational improvements that reduce maintenance and development costs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with team members on prototypes, testing, and validation.
