Base Salary

$238k - $288k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance software aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and promote engineering excellence and accountability.
  • Define and evolve architectural standards and best practices for consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Shape the cloud software technical direction by evaluating emerging technologies and their effects on reliability, scalability, cost, and adoption.
  • Mentor engineers through coaching, design reviews, and technical thought leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and align engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.
  • Advance the reliability, performance, and efficiency of managed Kubernetes and AI training clusters.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in systems engineering and large-scale distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in GoLang with a record of delivering production-grade systems.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Linux engineering, including advanced debugging and performance optimization.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code skills and understanding of complex systems-level challenges at scale.
  • Experience with Terraform and preferably GCP.
  • Strong understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines, including designing and scaling them for large organizations.
  • Ability to architect, build, and evolve Kubernetes operators and controllers.
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale systems comparable to Google Kubernetes Engine and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Ability to lead high-impact initiatives across networking, quality control, automation, and system reliability.
  • Ability to define and own system architecture end-to-end, including CI/CD pipelines, with attention to scalability, security, and sustainability.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
