Responsibilities
- Guide the technical direction of glab, owning its architecture and implementation.
- Design and ship terminal-first features and workflows in Go.
- Absorb changing inputs from various stakeholders and prioritize effectively.
- Partner with Product Management to shape and execute the roadmap.
- Steer the open-source project by managing contributions and maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with other Developer Clients teams to enhance the overall developer experience.
- Establish engineering practices and track metrics for glab's adoption and quality.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience with Go and building command-line interfaces.
- A history of open-source contributions, including project triage or maintainership.
- Proven ability to operate as a self-directed owner in a dynamic environment.
- Strong instincts for product and user experience in developer workflows.
- Experience setting technical direction and influencing work across teams.
- Experience collaborating in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript developer tools is a plus.
