Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from business requirements and architecture through implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build distributed, fault-tolerant, scalable compliance systems with strong observability, resilience, and automated testing.
- Deliver enterprise-grade solutions supporting investment workflows and firm-wide operations.
- Design technology that streamlines complex client workflows across global markets.
- Collaborate with product managers, quantitative analysts, infrastructure engineers, business counterparts, and quality engineering teams.
- Manage technical projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to platform migrations without disrupting production systems.
- Develop tools for compliance-rule creation, business intelligence, audit, reporting, and automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in C++.
- BA, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience designing, developing, and managing large-scale service-oriented systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures and systems, and applications programming.
- Experience with CI, CD, and unit testing.
- Experience building scalable systems with emphasis on code quality, system telemetry, and testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience leading or contributing to platform migrations is preferred.
- Interest or experience applying AI/LLM-based approaches to financial-domain problems is preferred.
