Responsibilities
- Design the architecture for test, build, and deployment pipelines and the services supporting factory software.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with high-quality technical documentation.
- Diagnose CI/CD pipeline issues, perform platform maintenance, deploy into new factory networks, and review team contributions.
- Design and deploy infrastructure for software delivery to on-premises and remote environments.
- Provide practical platform guidance to developers and stakeholders and guide technical decisions across the technology stack.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies while collaborating with robotics, systems engineering, and test teams.
- Advise on regulatory and security best practices for local CI environments and remote factory production environments.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in software, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure roles.
- A degree or vocational qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and platform automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and produce high-quality technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience with tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Practical experience with servers, networking, storage, virtualization, containerization, or cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when supporting developers and stakeholders.
- Interest or prior experience with robotic automation systems or regulated environments is desirable.
- Understanding of DevOps security best practices, requirements gathering, and technology evaluation is desirable.
