Senior Presales Architect / Principal Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities
- Work with sales teams to define technical sales strategies for prospects.
- Prepare and deliver presentations of company solutions to stakeholders across prospect organizations.
- Lead discovery workshops to gather customer requirements and business challenges.
- Develop solution blueprints, design architectures, and communicate how solutions address technical and business needs.
- Lead architecture discussions covering performance, scaling, API Management best practices, security, and topology.
- Build and deliver solution demonstrations.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute proof-of-concepts, including developing plans around agreed use cases.
- Assist with technical and product consulting content for RFP responses.
- Deliver technical presentations at trade shows and conferences and support marketing campaigns or events with technical and product content.
- Assist with solution implementation alongside solution consultants, cloud engineers, R&D, partners, and customer technical resources.
Requirements
- Live in Hong Kong and be able to commute and work onsite with the team.
- Speak and understand English and Cantonese at a professional level.
- Have a tertiary qualification in Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Have experience in technology-related roles, ideally with a software or solutions vendor.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge across IT domains, including integration, cloud, UX, and business processes.
- Have experience designing and deploying API Management solutions using platforms such as Axway, Apigee, Mulesoft, WSO2, Kong, Boomi, Layer 7, IBM DataPower, or API Connect.
- Understand DevOps integration and processes for digital business and have experience with DevOps tools.
- Understand public cloud platforms and cloud and hybrid-deployed architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, security, and elastic scaling.
- Have experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, security, scaling, monitoring, alerts, messaging patterns, integration patterns, and microservices.
- Have experience with EAI, ESB, and SOA.
- Fluent Mandarin is preferred.
- Cloud architect-level certification such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent is a plus.
- Have experience with agile project management and development methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, presentation, content-production, collaboration, and audience-tailoring skills.
