Responsibilities
- Define technical sales strategies with the sales team for prospects.
- Prepare and deliver solution presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Lead discovery workshops to gather customer requirements and business challenges.
- Develop solution blueprints, design architectures, maintain the solution vision, and explain how solutions address technical and business needs.
- Lead architecture discussions covering performance, scaling, API management best practices, security, and topology.
- Build and deliver solution demonstrations.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute proof-of-concept projects and plans.
- Support technical and product consulting content for RFP responses.
- Deliver technical presentations at trade shows and conferences and support technical content for marketing campaigns and events.
- Assist with solution implementation alongside internal teams, partners, and customer technical resources.
Requirements
- Live in Hong Kong and be able to work onsite with the team at least two days per week, with occasional travel.
- Speak and understand English and Cantonese at a professional level; Mandarin proficiency is preferred and is also listed as a qualification.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Have experience in technology-related roles, ideally with a software or solutions vendor.
- Have broad IT knowledge across integration, cloud, UX, and business processes.
- Have experience designing and deploying API management solutions using products such as Axway, Apigee, MuleSoft, WSO2, Kong, Boomi, Layer 7, IBM DataPower, and API Connect.
- Understand DevOps integration and processes, public cloud platforms, hybrid integration platforms, and cloud and hybrid-deployed architectural principles.
- Have experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, security, scaling, monitoring, alerts, messaging patterns, integration patterns, and microservices.
- Have experience with enterprise application integration, enterprise service bus, and service-oriented architecture.
- Cloud architect-level certification such as AWS or Azure certification is a plus.
- Have experience with agile project management and development methodologies.
- Have experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Chef, and Puppet.
- Demonstrate strong learning, communication, organization, content production, audience-tailoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
