Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build SDKs, instrumentation libraries, and connectors for AI observability.
- Own Fiddler's OpenTelemetry and OTLP strategy, including instrumentation libraries and collectors.
- Build a canonical abstraction layer for heterogeneous agent frameworks.
- Architect services for distributed ingestion and processing of observability signals.
- Design scalable data infrastructure and APIs for high-throughput ingestion.
- Drive developer experience by treating SDKs as products with strong ergonomics.
- Partner with product and customers to develop new metrics and evaluation capabilities.
- Define and evolve reliability and observability for the ingestion path.
- Mentor and grow a world-class engineering team.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and OTLP.
- Deep proficiency with Python and technologies for high-throughput ingestion.
- Proven experience building developer-facing SDKs and client libraries.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and troubleshooting production issues.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration skills.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
