Responsibilities
- Set the direction for the utilization of technology and architecture components across engineering.
- Build and maintain a Technology Adoption Roadmap translating strategy and customer needs into initiatives and implementations.
- Provide direction and feedback to improve technology adoption, platform capabilities, and product features.
- Support Pod Leads and Managers with roadmaps, plans, and breaking projects into executable work.
- Bridge technical and business understanding across operations, engineering, data science, business analysis, customer success, stakeholders, and customers.
- Facilitate continuous improvement using event-driven and distributed architecture principles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as an architect.
- Deep knowledge of event-driven architecture and strong understanding of distributed architectures.
- Strong experience with Python and experience with vanilla JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and key-value stores such as Redis.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Broad understanding of generative AI and the ability to translate technology into business value.
- Proficiency in English at B2+/C1 level.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes is preferred.
