$206k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, secure, maintainable, and interoperable customer-centric platforms across a large ecosystem of systems.
- Remain hands-on for approximately 50–70% of the role, contributing across the software development lifecycle.
- Resolve complex and ambiguous cross-team technical problems across onboarding, value realization, partner, and growth and retention domains.
- Define technical standards, patterns, and reference architectures and establish measures for AI impact, reliability, and safety in production.
- Design evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks for responsible AI integrations.
- Assess AI and platform impact on software performance, expert productivity, customer time-to-value, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Customer Success experts and operations teams to validate solutions and incorporate customer feedback into platform improvements.
- Influence senior product and business leadership by communicating technical strategy, trade-offs, and roadmap implications.
- Coach and mentor Staff and senior engineers and lead through influence across the Sales, Partner, and Customer Success Technology organization.
- Evaluate emerging AI and data technologies and identify opportunities to apply AI across the customer lifecycle.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience building web, software, or data-intensive applications, with technical leadership at the Senior Staff level or above.
- Experience architecting end-to-end analytical and customer-centric platforms at scale.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, including Java/J2EE or C#.
- Experience designing and shipping AI/ML capabilities in production.
- Ideally, experience with LLM-based or agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context engineering, agent memory, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams and communicate complex trade-offs to senior product and business leaders.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
