Responsibilities
- Lead technical account strategy and execution for strategic customers and multiple Databricks use cases from technical win through onboarding, enablement, production, go-live, and healthy consumption.
- Serve as the accountable technical leader and first contact for production and go-live questions across complex customer organizations.
- Create and execute plans for use-case acceleration, user enablement, product adoption, cloud cost control, tuning and optimization, and executive and operational governance.
- Coordinate Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding and Technical Services, Support, Product, Engineering, and other specialized teams.
- Manage technical escalations, product innovations, private previews, upgrade needs, and customer-facing execution activities.
- Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case progression.
Requirements
- At least five years of accountable technical project or program delivery experience in Data and AI, with the ability to contribute to customer technical debates and design decisions.
- Programming experience with Python, Spark, and Databricks or a similar data platform.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and of attributing business value to project deliverables.
- Experience with technical program or project management, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
- Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex program or project delivery.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
