Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 customizations, especially for Service Management and Project Management Accounting.
- Implement business change requests according to the established AX template and rollout standards.
- Provide third-level technical support, bug fixing, and application/system management.
- Troubleshoot AX performance issues, optimize cache functionality, and resolve performance problems caused by AX code.
- Collaborate with business super users, subject matter experts, solution architects, business system specialists, consultants, project managers, and the AX ERP team.
- Support AX modules including Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and Product Configuration Management.
- Manage code merges across different AX code layers and work with ISV solutions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Microsoft Dynamics AX development experience across AX modules.
- Expertise in X++ and medium-level understanding of C#.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3, AX development concepts, AX architecture, AIF, SSRS reports, data management, SQL, and Enterprise Portal.
- Experience working with DevOps in alignment with an AX code repository and with ISV solutions.
- Experience in large global Microsoft AX installations and understanding of relevant business processes.
- IT-relevant education.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to read technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with operating systems such as Windows.
- Ability to travel internationally and possess or acquire a valid passport.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of hire.
