Responsibilities
- Drive qualified inbound leads through discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and technical wins.
- Build relationships with engineering, finance, product, and technical founder stakeholders.
- Create implementation plans, code snippets, configuration examples, and integration guides for usage-based billing launches.
- Pair with customer teams during proofs of concept and initial setup.
- Design pragmatic upstream and downstream integrations into prospect systems.
- Advise AI companies on monetization challenges, pricing and packaging strategy, implementation, and market dynamics.
- Build AI market expertise and help develop the team’s processes and strategy from zero to one.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing SaaS roles such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management, or implementation consulting.
- 1+ years of experience working with, at, or selling to AI companies.
- Proven ability to independently own customer-facing engagements and relationships.
- Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to learn new systems, write code snippets, and guide technical implementations.
- Experience in high-velocity environments where speed to value is important.
- Excellent communication skills with engineers, product managers, and technical founders.
- Preferred experience with quote-to-cash systems and tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and CPQs.
- Preferred experience as a software engineer, product manager, or other technical professional.
- Preferred experience in pure sales, especially selling to technical buyers or as an early startup salesperson.
- Familiarity with AI developer tooling and the broader AI infrastructure ecosystem.
