Responsibilities
- Build full-stack web application features using TypeScript, Express, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Translate user feedback into shipped software for veterinary practices.
- Own feature areas end-to-end from conception through production.
- Make architectural decisions and help shape the technology stack.
- Integrate with practice management systems and third-party services.
- Balance user needs with technical feasibility while contributing product thinking.
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping web applications.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Express, and React.
- Solid PostgreSQL skills, including database design and SQL.
- Experience making architectural decisions for scalable systems.
- Startup experience or a demonstrated history of shipping software with real users.
- A product-first mindset and ability to connect engineering decisions to user needs.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid pivots, and direct communication.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated competency through shipped work.
- Experience with B2B SaaS or vertical software is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools for improving development workflow and productivity is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual salary of 65,000 to 85,000 EUR.
- Hybrid or on-site work in Berlin, Germany.
- Candidates must be able and willing to work from Berlin.
