Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize localization solutions across product, CMS, CRM, marketing, and design systems.
- Improve the localization management platform to increase visibility and control while reducing manual work.
- Embed automated language and quality checks into localization workflows.
- Improve localization experiences and processes for developers, designers, marketers, and content teams.
- Partner with Web and Mobile, Website, Comms Platform, and other technical teams to enable localization capabilities.
- Explore AI and language technology for the localization stack while meeting evolving compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering background, ideally with Go; Python, Rust, or C++ are alternatives.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs in microservices or distributed systems environments.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and event streaming tools such as Kafka.
- Ability to translate non-technical stakeholder priorities into scoped engineering work and operate independently across distributed systems.
- Exposure to React and TypeScript.
- Experience with translation management systems or localization for web, mobile, and other content platforms.
