
Mulesoft Integration Senior Architect (Secret clearance)

Responsibilities
- Lead and govern complex, multi-phased MuleSoft integration and solution architecture projects.
- Define reusable enterprise integration best practices, reference architectures, foundational assets, and API patterns.
- Establish DevOps models, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, operational standards, and full API lifecycle management.
- Lead requirements workshops and deliver architectural blueprint documents for customer projects.
- Advise client executives and internal sales and delivery teams throughout pre-sales and project delivery.
- Mentor junior architects, engineers, and consultants on technical design, implementation, and customer-facing practices.
- Drive decisions on complex technical challenges and balance scope, time-to-market, and technical debt.
- Collaborate with MuleSoft Product Management and Engineering to provide field feedback and influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Active Secret-level security clearance.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years leading complex integration and solution architecture initiatives.
- At least 2 years of hands-on MuleSoft experience or similar experience designing and implementing API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
- Expertise in high availability, scalability, SDLC, API lifecycle management, and enterprise technical solution architecture.
- Experience managing and architecting multiple technical integration projects through the SDLC, sometimes simultaneously.
- Experience with MuleSoft and integration solutions such as IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, and API management solutions.
- Understanding of API security principles including authentication, authorization, and security policies.
- Preferred expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, microservices, service mesh, serverless, cloud, DevOps, networking, infrastructure, security compliance, programming, and databases.
- Preferred proficiency in at least two of Bash, Go, Python, Ruby, Node.js, Rust, and Java.
- Preferred working knowledge of at least one relational database, NoSQL database, distributed key-value store, and time-series database.
- Desired certifications include CKA, CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
