Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for strategic customer implementations spanning architectural design, data engineering, and model deployment.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies and strategic sales plays with GTM leadership, account teams, and account executives.
- Advise CAIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and other technical executives on AI strategy, architecture, and product adoption.
- Deliver workshops, proofs of concept, presentations, demos, and customer-facing technical collateral.
- Design and implement production-grade agentic AI use cases using Databricks Agent Framework, AgentBricks, RAG, tool calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Implement agent evaluation and monitoring using MLflow, LLM-as-a-judge, custom evaluation metrics, and tracing.
- Translate field insights into recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as a tier-3 escalation point for complex technical customer challenges.
- Establish and refine sales qualification and proof-of-concept intake processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles influencing technical executives and driving ML/AI strategy and product adoption.
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade machine learning and generative AI applications in customer or enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions, including RAG, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, and autonomous workflows.
- Strong knowledge of agentic AI evaluation methods, including MLflow Tracing, LLM judges, custom scorers, and systematic quality measurement.
- Familiarity with frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini, including deployment, optimization, and migration strategies.
- Programming, debugging, and problem-solving proficiency with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, cloud platforms, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience working with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Hands-on experience building solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding of cloud-native AI platforms.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
