Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and APIs for global products.
- Build highly available, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems supporting BigPay Fiat operations.
- Own and improve services throughout their lifecycle from design and deployment through operation and refinement.
- Develop tools and redesign capacity-planning infrastructure to improve scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues while ensuring data security and sound end-to-end architecture.
- Profile, benchmark, and optimize ML applications.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development and architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, with RESTful API experience.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and microservices architecture.
- In-depth understanding of Linux and computer networks.
- Experience with high availability, high performance, and resource optimization.
- English and Kazakh or Russian language proficiency to coordinate with Kazakhstan business partners and stakeholders.
- Java development experience, preferably including work on Apache open source projects.
