Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance secure and scalable public cloud solutions using DevSecOps practices.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform Enterprise to support consistent and automated cloud deployments.
- Lead engineering efforts in an AWS-based environment while supporting Azure capabilities.
- Design and implement cloud landing zones for governance, security, and operational readiness.
- Develop cloud networking solutions involving connectivity, segmentation, and foundational platform design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and engineers.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, policy enforcement, and automated controls across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate across development, platform, security, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, or DevSecOps roles.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS solutions, with working knowledge of Azure services and patterns.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Terraform Enterprise for repeatable cloud environments.
- Understanding of cloud landing zones, identity and access management, governance guardrails, and cloud networking concepts including VPC/VNet design, routing, connectivity, and segmentation.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
- One current AWS or equivalent cloud certification is required.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and HashiCorp Terraform certification.
