Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and operate resilient services using Java and Golang.
- Develop advanced dial-plan and IVR capabilities, including conditional routing, variable sharing, and context management.
- Own features from design through production and contribute to architecture, platform reliability, observability, incident response, and service supportability.
- Migrate CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions and operate production services on Kubernetes.
- Create and review pull requests with emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and test coverage.
- Participate in architecture discussions, production-support and on-call rotations, and the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools including GitHub Copilot and Claude.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and working knowledge of Golang.
- Experience building and operating microservices in a cloud-native SaaS environment.
- Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services including S3, Lambda, and SQS, Git, and GitHub.
- Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools and willingness to help mature their use within the team.
- Ability to independently own features from design through production without constant guidance.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; French is required for permanent positions in Quebec.
- Comfort working on Linux and macOS.
- Preferred experience includes SIP, VoIP, Asterisk, telephony, IVR, call-routing logic, OpenAPI, spec-first API design, Kafka, Helm, Terraform, data engineering, or data pipelines.
