Responsibilities
- Program new features and write tests for sprint tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers and product management to design and deliver software for tracking physical capital assets.
- Participate in pair programming, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions while jointly owning feature delivery from concept to production.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend and frontend SaaS components.
- Lead architecture decisions and contribute to system design documents, technical specifications, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure-as-code and reliable, repeatable deployment.
- Address technical debt, identify platform risks, and assist with troubleshooting complex customer issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a SaaS environment.
- Strong command of modern programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue and backend technologies such as Node.js.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database design and management.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or OCI cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
- Understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, technical project leadership, independent work, and collaboration skills.
