Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale, distributed, and highly available infrastructure.
- Build platform tools that enable feature teams to deploy and manage datastores for their services.
- Research technologies that accelerate new environment creation.
- Lead cross-team initiatives through code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, and security hygiene.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.
- Improve datastore reliability through configuration standards, latency, throughput, availability, utilization monitoring, and performance analysis.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Go.
- Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Experience with storage systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB at scale.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Ability to work on highly reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure systems.
- Extra consideration for database experience and DevOps experience with cloud-agnostic, cloud-native technologies.

- Annual base salary range of $136,000–$187,000 CAD for candidates located in Canada.
