Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional testing across web applications, APIs, and Android/mobile applications.
- Conduct system testing, acceptance testing, accessibility testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Access and query databases using SQL Server Management Studio and navigate servers using Remote Desktop Protocol.
- Monitor and access logging records from AWS-hosted components using CloudWatch and Kibana.
- Create and manage test cases in Jira and Xray, and use Postman, Appium, Newman, SQL, and YAML in testing activities.
- Identify test conditions during refinement sessions and collaborate with developers to automate scenarios.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to support quality assurance practices.
- Prioritize workloads and escalate key issues as required.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of practical experience in system testing and acceptance testing.
- Proficiency with Postman, Appium, SQL, Jira, Confluence, and Xray for test case management.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications, including Android applications.
- Experience with accessibility testing using operating system screen readers.
- Proven experience using Postman, Newman, and YAML.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical peers and stakeholders and prioritize workloads.
- AWS certification or demonstrable AWS experience is welcomed.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and AI tooling such as AWS Q, Kiro, or Prodigy is desirable.
