Base Salary
$116k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to agentic coding workflows, infrastructure as code practices, and technical code reviews across the platform.
- Support platform architecture decisions and technology standardization under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Design and build a Kubernetes-based platform for automated lifecycle management of core infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on application design patterns for platform service consumption.
- Build and operate a self-service platform that provides datastore solutions with best-practice usage patterns.
- Partner with application teams to diagnose and resolve datastore performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
- United States citizenship and the ability to obtain CJIS clearance for full U.S. production access.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; platform automation or developer experience tooling is a plus.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems, with interest in developing larger-scale architectural expertise.
- Familiarity with agentic AI tooling or LLM-powered developer tools.
- Solid experience with microservice architectures and patterns.
- Working knowledge of cloud-hosted services and architectures across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL datastores such as MySQL, Cassandra, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
