Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software applications.
Build and consume services using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
Work with Java, Spring Boot, databases, Kafka, Kubernetes, cloud services, and testing tools.
Drive application build, release, deployment, and production implementation activities.
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, defect resolution, and software quality activities.
Collaborate with development, business, infrastructure, and security teams on enhancements and production fixes.
Support applications through rotating 24x7 shifts and transition between development and production support as needed.
Contribute to cloud migration, continuous integration and delivery, Scrum-based development, and software strategy planning.

At least 3 years of professional experience delivering quality software, ideally across the full stack.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Cucumber automation testing, Kafka, databases, Kubernetes, and RESTful services.
Experience analyzing, designing, coding, testing, installing, and maintaining complex software programs.
Knowledge of backend databases, preferably Spanner, or NoSQL or PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with RESTful architecture, microservices, JSON, and XML.
Required experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, testing tools, and messaging middleware such as Kafka and SQS.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of Python, React, JavaScript, or C# is a plus.

Full-time remote position in Mexico.
Participation in rotating 24x7 support shifts.
Work on innovative enterprise projects and products for major retail, CPG, fintech, and startup customers.
