Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify software applications and systems according to specifications.
- Build and enhance the Check In service layer for United’s Travel Readiness team.
- Collaborate with business analysts and business partners on software solutions.
- Support senior developers during software design and the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot software systems, optimize performance, resolve problems, and follow up on issues and solutions.
- Create software documentation as required by IDF.
- Write and complete comprehensive unit tests for developed or enhanced software.
- Provide direction, tools, and technical or process support to less senior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field.
- At least 2 years of experience in application design, development, installation, and software modification.
- Experience with C#/.NET and backend API/services development.
- Exposure to AWS and experience developing APIs/services.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL.
- Basic knowledge of a major programming language, including C# or .NET.
- Ability to write code that accepts user input and converts it into output.
- Basic understanding of Git and GitHub.
- Experience writing and running unit tests alongside local code development.
- Understanding of unit testing and exposure to non-functional testing methods such as load testing.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Computer Science is a preferred qualification.
- Successful completion of an interview and reliable, punctual attendance are required.
