Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define the company's ML strategy and infrastructure requirements.
- Design and build end-to-end production ML systems.
- Establish evaluation methodologies for model quality and iteration.
- Own the data strategy, including labeling and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with product and backend engineers for ML integration.
- Write production-quality code and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the ML team as it expands.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building ML systems in production.
- Experience establishing ML infrastructure at early-stage startups.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ML infrastructure like SageMaker or similar.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to work across infrastructure, backend systems, and data platforms.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills and ability to elevate technical standards.
