Responsibilities
- Support and evolve solution architecture for cloud-based SaaS features, capabilities, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to design maintainable solutions that balance functional requirements with performance, security, scalability, and compliance.
- Review engineering designs and implementations for alignment with approved architecture, standards, and governance expectations.
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts and decision records, and communicate architectural concepts through design reviews, working sessions, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to architecture governance, platform standards, solution patterns, and long-term sustainability.
- Use modern and AI-assisted tools for architectural research, analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience contributing to solution architecture, technical design, or complex system design in a software or SaaS environment.
- 4+ years of experience in software development or related technical roles, including hands-on work with a modern programming language such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Practical front-end and back-end experience with technologies such as React, Node.js, or Spring, plus distributed systems concepts including microservices and REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, computational complexity, and communicating design trade-offs.
- Experience with data modelling, data management, OLTP, cloud-based SaaS application design, scalability, and multi-tenancy.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS using cloud-native patterns in a SaaS application.
- Experience with AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or SpecKit.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineers, product managers, and technical stakeholders, along with curiosity, self-motivation, and an interest in AI-driven solutions.
