Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a large-scale, distributed storage platform.
- Interface with system users to understand their use cases and help them use tools and platforms effectively.
- Research best practices and propose feature specifications for the platform roadmap.
- Develop and maintain features and tools that complement the core platform.
- Collaborate with researchers, portfolio managers, and global teams.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience.
- Strong English communication skills and experience working in a global environment.
- Expertise in software life cycle management methodologies and tools, including Git and JIRA.
- Expertise in at least one of C, C++, Go, or Python.
- UNIX/Linux experience.
- Knowledge of designing and developing large-scale, distributed storage systems is desirable.
