Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient Python software.
- Build analytics web applications, dashboards, and interactive data products using Streamlit or similar technologies.
- Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data access layers using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, aggregation, reporting, visualization, and workflow automation.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL queries to support data integrity, performance, and application functionality.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, stakeholders, and technical specialists to translate requirements into usable analytics capabilities.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based container deployments.
- Use Git for version control and collaboration.
- Apply software engineering practices to improve scalability, maintainability, testability, reliability, security, quality, and compliance.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, sustainment, and enhancement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with an active or obtainable CI polygraph.
- US citizenship is required.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
- Hands-on experience developing analytics, reporting, dashboard, or operational data applications.
- Experience with Streamlit or similar interactive analytics technologies.
- Experience building backend solutions with FastAPI or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of web technologies, RESTful APIs, containerization, backend services, and user interface development.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL queries, data quality, validation, transformation, and basic data modeling.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, repeatable deployment practices, Git, full-stack development, and the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, Superset or similar visualization tools, ETL workflows, data pipelines, cloud data platforms, managed databases, object storage, data governance, metadata management, access control, security practices, and application or database performance troubleshooting.
