Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support applications using Java and Spark.
- Build scalable APIs and integration solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
- Lead technical initiatives and drive automation, modernization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 13+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java Spark, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Git, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring developers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Preferred: Big Data technologies, AI/GenAI, automation, modern engineering practices, and financial services or other regulated-industry experience.
