Responsibilities

  • Operate and improve the reliability of a high-traffic public banking website behind an enterprise content delivery network.
  • Configure CDN origins, caching, invalidation, edge logic, TLS, and DNS.
  • Tune web application firewall false positives and bot-management controls against production-like traffic.
  • Define service-level objectives and error budgets and build observability from logs, real-user monitoring, and synthetic monitoring.
  • Analyze web performance, Core Web Vitals, load and rendering behavior, and waterfall data to identify regressions.
  • Read and reason about browser-side JavaScript and CSS on a serverless web platform.
  • Manage Git-based release engineering, CI/CD production controls, and infrastructure and configuration as code.
  • Lead incident command for customer-facing services and produce evidence during incidents.
  • Operate within regulated-environment requirements including change control, audit evidence, access management, and third-party risk.
  • Coordinate reliability work across Adobe, InfoSec, Network and CDN, Privacy, Production Support, development, and vendor teams.

Requirements

  • Substantial hands-on experience operating a high-traffic public website behind an enterprise content delivery network.
  • Deep CDN configuration experience covering origin and cache behavior, invalidation, edge logic, TLS, and DNS.
  • Practical web application firewall experience, including false-positive tuning and bot management.
  • Experience defining service-level objectives and error budgets and building monitoring from log, real-user, and synthetic sources.
  • Web performance engineering experience with Core Web Vitals, load and rendering behavior, and waterfall analysis.
  • Comfort reading and understanding browser-side JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience with Git-based release engineering, CI/CD as a production control, and infrastructure and configuration as code.
  • Experience with incident command for customer-facing services.
  • Ability to work effectively with change control, audit evidence, access management, and third-party risk in a regulated environment.
  • Akamai and Cloudflare experience is advantageous.
  • Adobe Experience Manager exposure, particularly Edge Delivery Services and Assets as a Cloud Service, is advantageous.
  • Financial services or other regulated-sector experience is advantageous.
  • Bilingual English and French delivery experience is advantageous.
  • Accessibility and Search Engine Optimization knowledge sufficient to identify compliance or discoverability risks is advantageous.
