Base Salary
$150k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex customer technical issues on Google Cloud Platform and determine root causes.
- Advise customers and internal teams on technical best practices and resolve deployment obstacles.
- Identify trends, document issues, fix bugs at the code level, and improve self-service tools.
- Provide continuous global support in a 24x7 model that may include non-standard hours, shifts, and weekends.
- Contribute to strategic projects by defining scope, executing project plans, and delivering key components across functions.
- Develop investigation tools and learn coding languages to improve diagnostic productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related occupation, or seven years of equivalent relevant experience.
- Five years of experience reading and debugging Java, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript code.
- Five years of experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues using root cause analysis.
- Five years of experience debugging complex workloads across large-scale, multi-node environments.
- Five years of experience with public cloud services and infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Five years of experience triaging technical issues and advocating for customer needs.
