Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Write production-ready, testable code and take full-stack ownership of products.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant designs following architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering standards and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance, security, and software reliability engineering practices.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
- Contribute to technology transformation, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of relevant experience.
- Four to five years of experience with Pega Infinity 8.x or greater and supporting frameworks such as CPM and Collections is preferred.
- Pega Certified System Architect or higher is strongly preferred.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines, cloud, Agile development, object-oriented programming, Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, web services, middleware, databases, AWS telephony integration, and REST or GraphQL is preferred.
- Java or .NET programming experience is preferred.
- Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub, Kafka, streaming integrations, AWS, Azure, PegaCloud, Pega Deployment Manager, containerized deployments, and Ansible is preferred.
- Financial-services software, credit-card and collections systems, cloud-native deployments, and modernization experience are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
