Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional, automated, API, mobile, and other QA test cases across SIT, performance, UAT, production, and validation phases.
- Create test scenarios, review functional specifications and business processes for testability, and validate test data and test environment requirements.
- Identify, document, define, and mitigate testing defects, issues, dependencies, and risks.
- Assist with QA test strategies, methodologies, project plans, testing scope, timelines, work plans, milestones, and critical paths.
- Generate test execution, defect, and ad hoc reports and provide daily testing metrics to IT teams and management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate progress, follow testing standards and entry/exit criteria, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in SQA, software testing, or a related field.
- At least two years of Appium or other mobile automation experience, with Appium preferred.
- At least one year of experience with native UI testing tools such as Espresso and XCUITest.
- At least one year of experience with device emulation and simulator tools such as Perfecto or BrowserStack.
- At least two years of test automation using Java, test management tools such as Qtest or QualityCenter, defect management tools such as JIRA or Rally, and API testing or debugging tools such as Postman.
- Functional testing experience is mandatory, and XCUITest or Espresso is mandatory for designated squads.
- Preferred qualifications include Web Services and mobile testing, informal technical leadership, leadership interaction, matrixed-organization, IT vendor, SDLC, technical documentation, virtual testing environment, healthcare, business application, and data mart/data warehousing experience.
- Quality Assurance Institute, American Society for Quality, or similar certification is preferred.
