Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Build performant, accessible, responsive, and SEO-optimized web experiences meeting WCAG 2.1 and Core Web Vitals standards.
- Contribute to Node.js or equivalent backend development, server-side logic, REST or GraphQL APIs, and data integration.
- Collaborate with design and UX teams to implement pixel-accurate UI components.
- Support React Native development for cross-platform iOS and Android features during larger mobile initiatives.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared frontend component libraries and design system standards.
- Integrate with Drupal, booking systems, analytics platforms, and other third-party services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in React and Next.js, including App Router, SSR, SSG, and ISR patterns.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Backend experience with Node.js or equivalent and familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- React Native experience building and maintaining cross-platform iOS and Android features.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Detox.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Preferred: experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Preferred: familiarity with Expo or React Native CLI build tooling.
- Preferred: experience with Drupal, Contentful, Sanity, or similar headless CMS platforms.
- Preferred: knowledge of Redux, Zustand, or Jotai.
- Preferred: experience in hospitality, travel, cruise, or luxury consumer digital platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Segment, or Amplitude instrumentation.
