Responsibilities
- Deliver full stack features across React, Next.js, and Node.js or equivalent back-end technologies.
- Own and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
- Build and maintain production CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Manage development, staging, and production environments and enforce environment parity.
- Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, respond to incidents, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Implement cloud security practices including IAM roles, secret management, VPC configuration, and vulnerability patching.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain operational runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with full stack development skills.
- Strong front-end experience with React and Next.js.
- Strong back-end proficiency with Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and IAM.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production.
- Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Understanding of Docker and containerization; ECS or Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals in cloud-hosted environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification is preferred.
- Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar monitoring and observability tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with CDN configuration, web performance optimization, hospitality or travel platforms, and PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB is preferred.
