Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for cybersecurity, cyber defense, automation, and decision support.
- Explore datasets, train machine learning models for inference, and apply model outputs to cyber investigations.
- Package and deploy production-level models and contribute to the architecture and deployment of production-grade AI systems.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Cyber Operators on cross-functional solutions.
- Identify AI/ML opportunities using cybersecurity expertise and develop novel solutions to challenging problems.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and mentor junior team members as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with cyber threat hunting and compromise analysis using endpoint and network security logs.
- At least 2 years of experience exploring datasets, training machine learning models, and applying inference outputs to cyber investigations.
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, MISP threat sharing, or cyber intelligence platforms including seQure.
- Experience packaging and deploying production-level models using Python, Bash, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL, or data streaming technologies, including Kafka.
- Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk or ElasticSearch.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience with large language models, natural language processing, data science workflows, data brokers, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Confluent, Benthos, RedPanda, RabbitMQ, Azure, AWS, or GovCloud.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is preferred.
