Responsibilities
- Lead development of the Streamlit Data Product Portal, including catalog, discovery, and detail pages.
- Contribute to data product onboarding workflows involving database provisioning, schema setup, and role configuration using Pulumi.
- Build observability dashboards and reports for cost attribution, usage monitoring, and RBAC compliance.
- Support Cortex AI enablement through semantic view development, Cortex Agent configuration, and testing against data products.
- Write platform documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in architecture discussions and team planning while applying data mesh principles.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or master’s program in databases, cloud computing, or software engineering, with junior or senior standing in a technical degree program.
- Familiarity with Python and SQL through coursework or projects.
- Interest in cloud data platforms, data engineering, or data product development.
- Experience with Streamlit, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks is preferred but not required.
- Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools through coursework or personal projects is preferred.
- Curiosity about AI and machine learning applied to data platforms, strong written communication skills, documentation ability, and ownership mindset.
- Must remain actively enrolled in an academic program for the entire assignment and be available full-time for 40 hours per week throughout the co-op session.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
